Rare Medical Conditions

We specialize in working with Rare Medical Conditions and have presented with NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases). There is little research and education on rare diseases and by the time you are diagnosed it has been years of medical testing, thousands of medical bills, and typically there is no solution due to lack of funding. Lucy Dunning, Owner of Blue Sky Family Counseling, has a rare disease and is dedicated to advocating and spreading awareness on why we need to close these gaps. While all medical issues are difficult have a rare disease that is poorly understood by the medical field with no solution often leaves people feeling like they have been given a life sentence. Understanding complexities of this, we work with our clients on how to cope with their disease and most importantly have a quality of life that they find meaningful and enjoy.
