Lucy’s story

Divorce…especially when it is high-conflict, is not something you can truly understand by reading a textbook or sitting through a workshop. It’s messy, painful, disorienting, and at times, feels like it has no end in sight. While I bring years of clinical training and professional expertise to my work, what truly sets Blue Sky Family Counseling and Coaching apart is something far less conventional..lived experience.

I’ve walked through the fire myself. As someone who has navigated the emotional turmoil, legal battles, financial uncertainty, and parental guilt that comes with divorce, I approach my work with a depth of understanding that can’t be taught. I know what it’s like to feel lost in court documents while trying to hold it together for your children. I understand the exhaustion of being misunderstood by professionals who haven’t lived what you’re going through. I’ve experienced the heartbreak of watching your family system unravel and the challenge of rebuilding your life from ground zero.

And that’s exactly why I do this work differently…with each family/case being treated as unique and creating an individualized approach.

I am a Board-Certified Tele-mental Health Counselor. I am licensed in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

As a BC-TMC I have had extensive training and assessment in providing effective telehealth services to clients. I stay up to date on the latest policies and best practices when providing therapy or coaching services through a virtual platform.
